Welcome back!

Recap time.

The household filled to eight. Michael achieved his life time wish and all the babies became toddlers.

The Toddlers are coming on with their skills. Forest and Sin have learned their basic skills and Charity and Envy and being taught to speak.All the toddlers apart from Envy have imaginary friend dolls and you can feel Envy’s jealousy. He keeps crawling around the house wanting to play with the other children’s dolls.

The portraits for the founders are finished and hanging in their bedrooms.

Utopia is finally going back to work.

It’s Michael’s Birthday.Ionisis: Where is everyone?

Michael: I wanted a party but I don’t have any friends and my Wife is at work.

Ionisis: Aww, I’ll cheer for you hun. *Whistles* *whoops* Michael: How do i look?

Ionisis: Old. I’m going to miss you when you go.

Michael: Hey! There’s still plenty of life left in me.

I decide Michael deserves a present. He’s always wanting to go fishing but the weather is terrible and he never gets time to fish so I get him his own pond (plus a couple of debug nodes, because.. why not.)

Mike comes home with a promotion and a bonus.

The next morning it’s Forest’s Birthday.Utopia: Make a wish little man to grow into your face. Forest rolled Heavy Sleeper to add to his Friendly and Couch Potato.  Isn’t he a little stunner.

Michael cashed in some of his lifetime reward points so he could afford to give Forest a bedroom of his own for his birthday. His imaginary Friend Peaches grew up too.

Forest: I am Dino-Forest-Saur. Hear me ROAR!Dino-Forest-Saur terrorises the high seas, smashing all ships in his wake.

Forest: ROAR ROAR RAWR!

Distopia returns “happily” to work.Dystopia: How am i expected to be taken seriously wearing this?Forest: Dino-Forest-Saur eats little girls so they don’t become heir.Charity: Yoo no scawy, yoo gween like me and mawmy.Michael: Son, i have a special present for you.

Forest: I know where it’s going if i don’t like it.

The next morning is Forest’s first day at school.Forest hasn’t been enrolled in any after school classes. I couldn’t see a Couch Potato wanting to go to scouts or ballet.

How is that even possible Utopia? You can’t see him and he’s imaginary.

Utopia manages to get over her need to speak to people that don’t exist and snag a promotion.

Finally someone in the neighbourhood has a baby girl.

It’s Sin’s Birthday!Dystopia: I really hope you lose some of that cute. Sin rolled Evil to go with her Artistic and Loves the Outdoors. Since Sin rolled Evil we have our heir unless Envy also rolls Evil. She’s still fairly cute but she does look like her dad.

Sin also receives a birthday bedroom.Her imaginary friend Patches also grows up.The following morning she goes to school for the first time.Sin: What if the other kids don’t like me? I’m not big enough to crush them yet.

Forest: Don’t worry i’ll look after you.

Sin has been enrolled in Ballet after school.

Mike gets another promotion. He’s now the Mayor of Moonlight Falls.

Only three more promotions left for Mike. Progress!

Ionisis: Utopia, what are you doing?

Utopia: I need dirt on the neighbourhood to be promoted.Ionisis: Found anything?

Utopia: gmmmfph hmmthmpUtopia found some dirt on James Hopcraft but she refuses to give me the juicy details.

Meanwhile Mike has thrown another fundraising party to attempt to further his career. He’s also invited a local celebrity.Mike: I have great Charisma. I’m good at chess and I’m the mayor!

Olivia Goth: Oh, that’s impressive. Maybe we can socialise.

Mike manages to make her a friend by the end of he party and gets himself a celebrity star. He completely ignores every other guest but the party still seems to go well.

He’s clear in the green for fundraising again. Not to be outdone, his wife also gets herself a promotion.

Dystopia only has four more promotions to go to achieve her lifetime wish.

The very next morning it’s Charity’s Birthday.Utopia: Make a wish, my sweet little Charity! Charity rolled Shy as her next trait. I still think she’s very cute. I freely admit to her being my favourite sim in the house and I’m leaning towards her being the heir because I can’t stand the idea of ever kicking her out of the household.

During the cake eating the maid spots Forest.Maid who’s name I don’t remember: He’s so ugly he makes my eyes roll.

Charity also receives her own bedroom for her birthday.

Her imaginary friend Lucky grows up too.

As soon as she aged up, Charity instantly starts rolling wishes for a chemistry set and to learn potions.Charity: Hmm, I wonder what happens if I add some of this?

Lucky: I don’t think you should do that.Charity: Lucky, what happened?

Lucky: I told you not to drop the sodium in the water!

It’s Birthdays galore again. The next morning it’s Envy’s childhood birthday party. The entire household actually manages to attend his birthday.Envy rolled Mooch.Envy: Oh yeah, I know I’m the best looking child in this house.

Following tradition, he also gets his own room. His first wish…..to play with his rocket toy of course.

What’s going on here?Since the pond went in gnomes have been appearing out of thin air. I spent far too long staring at the Gnome convention when I spotted it and by the time i returned to check on the household I saw Envy giving me his seal of approval for the bedroom space theme.I don’t know if it was because I was tired or because I’m insane, but I took this autonomy as a thank you from Envy.

Charity is a very decisive child, she’s the first of the children to choose her lifetime wish.

Charity want’s to be a Master magician.

It’s important to me and my legacy experience that all born in game sims decide what they want out of their “lives”. I’d like all of them to pick their LTW, but in the event they reach Young adult without a LTW I’ll choose one that’s offered and base the choice on the traits and behaviour of that sim.

Sin keeps autonomously pranking the household. 

Utopia: Do you like the painting I made for Charity’s sea bedroom?

Ionisis: It’s beautiful.

Dystopia get’s her promotion to level seven of her career.

Only three more to go for her LTW.

My simself and boyfriend are expecting another baby.

I only hope this time they don’t give the child a stupid name. Who calls a boy Brandy???

Utopia gets a promotion to level Five of her career. She’s really falling behind.

After getting her promotion, Utopia rushes home. She doesn’t even walk through the front door, instead she runs right up to Michael.Utopia: I can’t believe it. How could you do this to me?

Michael: What are you talking about?

Ionisis: Whoa, whoa, what’s going on here?

Utopia: He cheated on me!Utopia: I can’t believe you didn’t tell me. Both of you should have told me.

Ionisis: Hold on a minute, I watch everything. I’m pretty sure I’d know if he cheated on you.

Utopia: I had to find out about this at work! From my partner, who incidentally is his MISTRESS!

Michael: I’m begging you to forgive me.

Ionisis: What? Forgive you? You mean you DID cheat? No no no, impossible.

WTF ??? When the hell did that happen?

Ionsis: MICHAEL!

Michael: I’ll fix it, I swear!

Ionsis: You better, and fast! Forest is having his birthday in a few hours and you better not ruin it with your infidelity.

Utopia: I can’t believe he’d do this to me.

Ionsis: Well, to be fair, you can’t be all that upset about it….. you did make him leave his girlfriend and move in with you. You forced him to cheat on her with you.

Utopia: WHO ASKED YOU! Michael: Look Frida, I really don’t remember having a relationship with you so, erm, i guess I’m here to ask that you forget whatever it is you think is between us.

Frida: Meh, that’s fine, I have commitment issues anyway.

You know a house is haunted when……you find a dog swimming in the floor.

Michael rushes home to his son’s birthday. Despite Frida-gate the party goes off without a hitch.Forest rolls Charismatic.

Charity: Am I going to look like that? With a face like that, Forest is really going to need his Charismatic trait.

Next time…

Will Utopia forgive Michael? Will more gnomes appear at the pond?How will Sin, Charity and Envy Grow up?

 

Sorry for the time between the last chapter and this one. I’ve never managed so many sims in a household before and I have a tendency to micro-manage, so game play is really slow at the moment. My goal is a chapter a week, but i feel a chapter a fortnight is probably more likely until i get used to managing eight sims.
